Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog! I will be using this as a way to update and share about what God is doing in my life during the time I am on the World Race.
In August of 2024 I will be going on the World Race: The Gap Year. During these 9 months I will go to Cambodia, Thailand, Romania, and Guatemala. I am going to help people, and telling them about Jesus. I am so grateful for the opportunity to do this because I know that God is using me to help further His kingdom and strengthen my relationship with Him.
When I decided to go on the World Race I felt a little crazy because this was not what I planned to do after graduation. I planned to go to college, get a job and live a comfortable life. So what changed my mind? Well Jesus did. Having a relationship with Jesus and living for Him has not always been my top priority, but that all changed when I gave my life to Him last year. Once I became a Christian, it became clear to me that I need to go and help other people find a relationship with Him, but how? I had never really thought about missions until I saw an Adventures In Mission bus on my way to work one day, and then I decided I wanted to go on a mission trip. At first I just looked for a missions trip I could go to over the summer before I started college, but then I saw something about the world race gap year, and I decided I wanted to go on that because I want my life to reflect what God wants for me and I know that this is something God wants me to do. In Matthew 28:19 Jesus tells his disciples to go make disciples from all nations, and so that is what I decided to do. I decided I am going to use the next year of my life to go make disciples in Cambodia, Thailand, Romania, and Guatemala. I also want to do the World Race because I want to strengthen my relationship with God, and it already has because I am now relying on Him to provide what I need to be able to go on the World Race, and also to provide the strength and guidance I need while I am on my missions trip.
This is a link to my Donation Page. If you would like to check out more about my trip, it has a lot of information about what I will be doing, so feel free to check it out. It also has a spot where you can help fund my trip by donating, but do not feel pressured into giving.
The last thing I would like to ask is that you would pray for me and my trip. Pray that God will prepare me, and the rest of the team going, to do what He is going to ask of me.
